You should go ahead and do so anyway, as it will not harm your system. The one that I’d recommend to run at the very least is ‘equo repo mirrorsort sabayon-weekly’. This checks all the servers that Sabayon updates from, and runs a speed-test on them, then selects the fastest one for your system to use. It takes a while, but it’s time well spent.

Hi There,

I’m newbie on Sabayon, I downloaded and installed the last release Sabayon 6 [Gnome]; I run the equo update and told me that the repository is already up to date. So i Think that there is no need to execute the other commands, right ?
